This piece was recorded during the M3 live Festival at the Greenwich House in NYC.
The composition is part of a larger work called Under The Surface, composed for the Chamber Music America’s New Jazz Works Grant, which I received in 2019 right before Covid. The entire work will be released in 2024 on the ARC label, featuring my trio with Johnathan Blake on drums and Gregg August on bass and guests from Alchemy Sound Project.
